You can see the historic windmill from afar when driving towards De Jonge Johannes, you cannot miss it! (although GPS navigation to ensure you take the right exit is quite useful 😉)
There is enough parking space and once inside you can pick your own table. Since this is mainly a restaurant with large outdoor playground, we recommend finding a spot outside.
To be clear, there is a little play corner inside, but the real party is outdoors.
Outside you'll find a huge inflatable bouncer, sandpit, various attributes to climb on, slides, a water table, trampolines (paid), miniature golf (paid), electric cars (paid) and some small animals.
The bouncer was a great hit with our little princess, but I personally disliked to have to pay for some of the other attractions.
As said before, this is restaurant, a pancake restaurant. So we have tried those and were very satisfied 🥞! Do note that there is no service. You order at the counter and receive a buzzer that notfies you when your food is ready.
We appreciate that there is no entrance fee levied unlike many other kids-oriented locations. However, this is offset by the fact that they charge you for some activities.
