About De Klepperhoeve
De Klepperhoeve is a petting zoo in Middelburg.
You'll find various animals here: there are cows, sheep, horses, donkeys, rabbits, and birds, to name a few.
At some places you're allowed to inside the enclosures, you're allowed to enter the pasture to pet the sheep and the youngest children are allowed to set with the rabbits. Even though there are a few toys and playground attributes here and there, the main attractions are the animals.
The petting zoo also provides some additional activities. You can ask for the free scavenger hunt at the bar or participate in arts and crafts for a small price. Another possibility is to take a walk through the surrounding park with donkeys Tommy & Nick (€17.50). There are also activities where you can participate in cleaning and nursing the animals. Visiting De Klepperhoeve can be combined with the adjacent Meiveld Playground or a walk through the historical center of Middelburg.
