Hollandse Hoeve (Speeltuinen)

The Hollandse Hoeve is located in the northern side of Goes. It's a public park that offers various ways to have fun for families with children.

The park features two free outdoor playgrounds, a petting zoo, a crafts centre, restaurant Vierlinden (with indoor playground) and the Omnium indoor pool.

The outdoor playgrounds are roughly located next to each other. The "classic" playground has a climbing tower made of ropes, a large play tower with slide from the top and a "zipline" which appeals to the older kids. The younger children can enjoy themselves in the toddler area and there is plenty of equipment which is suited for all ages such as the slides and the merry go round.

With some sort of rope bridge, you can climb to the more nature and water focussed playground. It boasts waterfront swing and several wobbly bridges which can cause you to get wet if you do not pay attention 😉.

We think that Hollandse Hoeve is a gem. The free entrance and free parking are great. And it gets even better because it's very easy to combine with a couple hours in the historical centre of Goes or one of the other attractions in the park: the indoor playground at Vierlinden, the petting zoo or the crafts centre.
