The Manteling van Walcheren is an extensive nature reserve that starts east of Domburg and continues to Vrouwenpolder where it turns into the Oranjezon nature reserve.
We regularly visit this area because of the great variety: beautiful forests with wide avenues, walking over the rolling dunes, beautiful castles / country houses and if you want you can also walk along the beach and have a drink.
Whether you come here for walking, going to the beach, cycling, mountain biking, running, it's all possible. And most routes are also easy to do with a pram.
Our tips: be sure to walk past Westhove Castle, where there is a hostel where you can also have a drink in the courtyard. Beach café Bij Karel has excellent staff and if you want a long walk, then you should definitely include the Oranjezon nature reserve as well.
