Monkeytown Middelburg is a new location opened in 2023 and we are very happy with that!
They chose the ZEP site as a location and that's where we also find Mini Mundi, Hyper Bowling, Glow Wave, Bounce Valley and E-SIM. Despite this fierce competition, we think Monkeytown is definitely worth visiting.
We are particularly impressed by the size and variety of this indoor playground. For example, there is a very spacious toddler corner separated from the rest of the location. In this toddler corner you will find a modest slide with a ball pit, a roller track for the little ones, large playing stones and a small climbing tower. All of this on a very soft surface, which makes this area suitable for babies and toddlers.
For the older kids there is a huge playground construction, we have seen such equipment before and there is plenty to climb, hide and slide. What makes this part extra fun is the elevated walkway over the tables, a roller track for the older children and the (paid) motorized cars.
But we're not there yet, because Monkeytown comes with two trump cards: the football cage (super cool!) and the jumping area with about 8 trampolines.
What a nice variation 👍. We personally thought it was very nice that our youngest (9 months) also had a great time.
Food and drinks were ok, but pricey. The quality was certainly not great, but it could also be worse. We were positively surprised by the Thai Chicken sandwich, the apple pie was ok, the cappuccinos were fine.
Due to the pricey entrance, snacks and drinks, we cannot give Monkey Town an excellent price/quality ratio, but you can assume that the kids will have a great time and therefore 5 stars.

Nice playground with paddling pool. Good to combine with a visit to the petting zoo or a day out in Middelburg
