Polderhuis Westkapelle

This location has not (yet) been visited by us. This page only provides general information.

The Polderhuis Museum tells the story about the history of the village of Westkapelle. Particularly about the battle against the wild North Sea.

There is also an area that focuses on the Second World War, including the Battle of the Scheldt and the inundation of Walcheren.

There are also two treasure hunts in the museum especially for children: the archeology treasure hunt and the peace journey. The treasure hunts are included in the entrance fee.

There are also two additional treasure hunts in and around Westekapelle for a small fee.

The Polderhuis Foundation also manages the two lighthouses of Westkapelle: 't Lage Licht and 't Hoge Licht.
