Speeltuin Meiveld

In Park Meiveld in Middelburg there are two great attractions for children up to 12 years old: a petting zoo called "the Klepperhoeve" and Playground Meiveld.

This playground is very suitable for kids from about 1.5 to 12 years old and the absolute highlight (for small kids) is the paddling pool.

Like many other playgrounds in Zeeland, this beautiful place is also run by volunteers and both the entrance fee and refreshments are very reasonably priced.

We love this beautiful playground. It is spacious and there are plenty of activities for kids of all ages.

You will find a terrace for the parents, a sandbox, trampolines, a large slide, a large climbing frame, a play carousel for the little ones, a bouncy castle, trampolines and a construction playground with planks.

In addition, there is the aforementioned paddling pool, which on sunny days ☀️ is an excellent cooling off spot for the little ones (but don't be suprised to see some slightly larger kids as well 😉).

There are plenty of chairs for dads, moms and supervisors and because the park is quite wide, there is always a shady spot to be found. The spaciousness also means that slightly older children can also play football or frisbee.

The range of food and drinks is limited (think orange juice and a cookie), but it is all very reasonably priced!

In short, highly recommended for anyone with kids and can also be combined with a day in Middelburg or other attractions in the area.
