This playground is located on the north side of the fortified village of Retranchement. This village is definitely worth a stopover. For a drink at one of the cafes on the Markt, for a walk on the ramparts or to play in this playground, of course!
The playground is free to enter (donations are appreciated) and although there is an association building, it was not open during our visit, so snacks and drinks were not available.
The playground itself has plenty of modern equipment. There are a few slides, swings, climbing equipment, a sandbox, a cable car and a football field.
What we really liked is that the little ones have also been taken into account with a mini slide and baby swings. The playground is suitable for kids aged 0 - 12 years.
Parent can relax at one of the picknick tables, so of which are in the shades of trees.
In summary, this playground is a nice stop during a bicycle ride in the area. We're not sure if we would recommend it as a destination in itself, but our kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves for about 2 hours.
