This location has not (yet) been visited by us. This page only provides general information.

This lighthouse towers over its surroundings with a height of 53 meters. The nice thing is that the tower is open to the public and you can climb up yourself to enjoy the view.

As its appearance suggests, this tower used to be part of a church (the Sint Willibrordus Church), but after a fire, only the tower remained and it was converted into a lighthouse.

It is a climb of 207 steps to the top of the tower (unfortunately the red structure is not accessible). But once you reach the top you can enjoy a wide view, up to about 35 kilometers away.

On the different floors of the climb you will learn about the former life of the tower keeper.

There are only stairs, so it's not suitable for the disabled or with a stroller!
